About the Speakers
Wes Combs Graduated from the University of Kentucky in 1984 with a B.S. in Agronomy. He has worked for Zoeller Pump Company from March 2006 to March 2010 as the Onsite Sales Manager. In March of 2010, he became a Regulatory Specialist, Clarus Environmental, a new division of Zoeller Pump Company. In January 2012, he moved to Market Development, responsible for assisting
in market development of various international markets as well as Clarus Environmental product compliance domestically and internationally. Also responsible for Zoeller Pump Company international compliance. In 2018, he acquired new duties as Clarus Product Marketing Manager.
Michael Kelley is an Engineer in Training and has been with Zoeller Pump Company since February
of 2018 as their Application Engineer. He works with customers and reps with technical issues and applications including pressure sewer, pump/ basin sizing, onsite wastewater, and other specialty applications. Michael graduated from Western Kentucky University with a Bachelor of Science in Mechanical Engineering and his Master of Business Administration. He enjoys spending time outdoors with family and friends.
Brett Peterson, Brett graduated from Northwest Missouri State in 2007 with a double major in Marketing and Management. He took a position with Mack McClain & Associates as an inside sales representative in Kansas City, KS, who is a manufacturers representative for Plumbing and HVAC lines, most recognized by the companies Watts, Rheem, Zoeller, Amtrol, Chicago Faucets, and Gerber. Brett worked inside sales for two years In KC. In 2010, he moved to Omaha, NE to take on the outside sales role for the Nebraska/Western Iowa Territory. In 2017, Brett became a partner within Mack McClain & Associates and opened a warehouse and office in La Vista.
Becky Schuerman is the University of Nebraska Extension Associate for Domestic Water/Wastewater Management. She worked in the regulatory field for the State of Nebraska Public Drinking Water and Water Well Standards Programs for over 17 years before starting with the Extension in April. She has worked in conjunction with the Nebraska Well Drillers Association, Nebraska’s NRDs, Nebraska Rural Water Association, Nebraska Section American Water Works Association, NDHHS, the Groundwater Foundation, NDEQ, UNL, and EPA Region 7 throughout those years.
Becky holds a Bachelor of Science in Ag & Natural Resources.
