Remember to bring your certification card to the class.  Tall-Neck Boots and a safety hat are required and a lawn chair is suggested if you'd like to sit at all.

About the Speakers

John and Stephanie Tumlinson — co-owners of Nebraska Heating & A/C

Dana Peterson, P.E. — is a licensed Professional Civil Engineer and owns Frontwater Engineering, LLC. His engineering focus is on water and wastewater engineering, and natural resource
and environmental sciences. Dana’s wastewater projects have ranged from a 10 million gallon per day municipal wastewater treatment plant to a single-family home septic system. For the last 18 years, Dana has assisted and led homeowners, businesses, and installers through the NDEQ construction permitting process to overcome
site setback issues and high flow/high strength wastewater challenges. Dana has designed and evaluated several mound systems, hybrid-mound systems, and pressure distribution systems throughout the state. Dana is also a member of the NOWWA Board of Directors.
 
Becky Schuerman —Is the Univ. of NE Extension Associate for Domestic Water/Wastewater Management. She has been in this role since 2019 and previously worked in the regulatory field for the State of Nebraska Public Drinking Water and Water Well Standards Programs for over 17 years. Becky is no stranger to working collaboratively with the Nebraska Well Drillers and Onsite Wastewater Associations, Nebraska’s NRDs, Nebraska Rural Water Association, NDEE, and UNL. Becky holds a Bachelor of Science in Ag & Natural Resources and is a graduate of the Nebraska Water Leaders Academy.
